Plunge Pools and Small Pools

Small pools or “spools” can be heated to 104 degrees in the winter with an effective, efficient natural or propane gas heater, which extends your enjoyment across all four seasons. Many of our clients embed their plunge pool into their day to day routine, beginning and ending their day with a dip for exercise and coffee or cocktails and conversation. Electric heat pumps are also available for two to three seasons of use.

Without overtaking an entire yard, our petite luxury designs offer plenty of space for relaxation and entertainment. Whether you are maximizing space in a densely populated urban neighborhood or building into a sloped lot in the surrounding areas, our plunge pool systems are the perfect solution. Many of our shells are self-supported structures or blend into a retaining wall system for the ultimate versatility.

Our drop-in prefabricated plunge pools are placed with a crane. On Day 1, we prepare the site and excavate. On Day 2, we place the pool with the crane and complete the initial plumbing and electrical work. Our typical pool installations are between 2-4 weeks with an additional 2-4 weeks for finishes.

We typically break ground within 2-3 weeks of having the pool permit in hand. While the pool permit turnaround varies based on municipality and other variables, we use the time wisely. The sooner we can begin the permit process, the sooner you will enjoy your pool.

Plunge pool maintenance requires less time and resources. While pool chemistry and cleaning are still critical to a well-functioning system, the smaller pool area is faster to clean. The lower water volume requires less total chemicals.

Our pools are better for the environment than large pools. The less surface area, the less evaporation. Plunge pools require less water refilling than larger, uncovered pools. They also have less impervious surface area interfering with stormwater flow.
